Submit Picture Captions
If you've been browsing the picture albums and have seen someone or something you know/have information about,
we want to hear from you! Please share your connection to the NMI and these pictures. Use the "Captions: Form Submission" instructions below to help us!
Alternatively, you can view our "Image Inventory" and write the name of the contributer, the file number and YOUR captions in a Word Doc or scan a written copy, attach to an email and send it to [email protected]. This could also be a story/memory you can have centered around a picture you saw.

Captions: Form Submission
Step 1: Find and select the album your picture is in by using the spreadsheet below "PCV Picture Album Inventory." You can search through albums by clicking the "three lined" icon in the top left corner of the spreadsheet below. An example of that icon is shown below.
Step 2: Find the picture(s) in the album you've selected. Pictures can be zoomed-in to by clicking them. And closed by clicking in the grayed out area around the picture in the spreadsheet. Also, there are more pictures than fit into the spreadsheet window -- there are thin, gray colored scroll bars on the outer edges of the inventory.
Step 3: When you are ready, use the form to the right under "Caption Submission Form" to send us your information. Please select the album you're picture is in using the drop-down menu, then in the next field enter the number OR File Name associated with your picture (found on the left side of the spreadsheet) and write the caption on the same line. An example of your submission from Fay Nelson's album may look like: 3 - Marshalls Team led the parade; Colorguard, torchbearers
